The Paxan Company was registered in the corporate and industrial ownership registration office as Pak kon co Ltd December 1962. This then changed in October 1970, to Paksan special body corporate. In 1997, it was admitted to the Iran National Industry Organization and in 1991 was transferred to the private sector. In August 1994, it became a general body corporate and was subsequently accepted into the Tehran Stock Market. The company's central office is located in Tehran and with regard to the fact that more than 51 percent of its stock belongs indirectly to the Behshahr Industry Development Company, Paksan Company is included in the Behshahr industry development group.
